Statement of Calendar Flexibility:

Owens Christian Preparatory Academy reserves the right to make any necessary changes to the calendar to better serve our students. We also have the flexibility to accommodate for inclement weather, emergency family tragedies, and other critical situations. Parents will be notified in writing, in ample time, and provided instructions relative to the situation. We hold 5 days during the school year to adjust for any emergency or inclement weather situations. Our instructional days will remain the same. It may be necessary to hold weekend sessions to make up days to keep our calendar balanced at 180 instructional days. It is not uncommon for days to be switched/swapped due to dates not tied down yet, or dates that change that are out of our control on the calendar. We will keep all parents timely informed.
